Howlings for 2009
From THR, next year is Moon of the Wolf.
2009 is shaping up to be a big year for werewolves with the release of the Benicio del Toro-starring remake of “The Wolfman” and the “Twilight” sequel “New Moon”.
There’s also a TV series in the works, I’m not kidding, called Bitches by one of the writers behind the Superman trainwreck, Mike Dougherty. That title sounds promising.
Didn’t bother with Twilight, cause it was another kids book joining the trend of Harry Potter’s success. The Wolfman is the only one out of the three in the coming year, I’m interested in seeing.

In Twilight’s defense, it’s more an angsty teenage drama versus straight up kids stuff like the first Harry Potter. You got to admit, too, that the latest Potter movies are hardly little kid friendly. Murder, cults, political intrigue, I rather like them. And Ralph Fiennes(sp?) acting as Voldemort is psychotic and scary.
