Tim Robbins as Howard Stark?

This rumor has popped up on Latino Review.

Tim Robbins is going to be playing Howard Stark in an important flashback sequence that is going to set up The Avengers and Captain America films. Jon [Favreau] wanted to get a good actor because he didn’t think the guy who played Howard in the last film could carry such an important scene.

Another is Hawkeye appearing and Black Widow has been brought up once again. Initially, I find this an odd casting, cause this is a different type of film for Robbins. Most I’ve seen him in, are comedies and dramas. But to be fair, Howard in the last film had no lines (he just stared at you), so maybe Robbins can equal Robert Downey Jr’s peformance.

I think there’s only gonna be one Cap film, unless they have more stories in WWII they want to tell or it’s a big success as the first Iron Man.
