    Smallville “Disciple” Description

The synopsis for Smallville‘s return episode 9×10 on Jan. 22.

“NO LOVERS, NO ALLIES, NO DISCIPLES; INTRODUCING DC COMIC CHARACTER THE DARK ARCHER

Oliver’s (Justin Hartley) past comes back to haunt him in the form of The Dark Archer (guest star Steve Bacic), Oliver’s former teacher, who seeks revenge on his student by taking aim at Lois (Erica Durance) and Chloe (Allison Mack). Oliver faces down The Dark Archer after his former mentor kidnaps Mia AKA “Speedy” (guest star Elise Gatien) but is pushed to his limit and Clark (Tom Welling) races to stop him from making another deadly mistake. Mairzee Almas directed the episode written by Jordan Hawley.”

This exactly proves my point in my last post, once again Clark is thrown to the sidelines for more Oliver time, even though that character outlived his perpuce on the show. Not a great way to come back from the hiatus guys. As it follows when situations happen to Ollie, Lois gets involved for extra ciotus.

As Lionel said to Lex in “Memoria”, “You spend too much time living in the past. You’ve got to start looking to the future.”

    Crisis on Two Earths Stills

From the trailer, Erica Bauza’s acting as Ultraman is too generic. As I’ve said before, Owlman is going to steal the movie because of James Woods. Never get tired of the line:

“No more debate. I’m going to kill you now.”

The logo on Johnny Quick is clearly the male symbol in that alpha kind of way.

Looks like Flash was going upward not downward with the background through the clouds appears to be the city.

Jester, the good Joker from Lex Luthor’s JLA before the Crime Syndiate annilates him and the rest of that team. I wonder why the producers kept this one bald as opposed to Alexander still having his red hair.

Maybe he goes evil in the climax of the film, reflecting the theme from Infinite Crisis that no matter what universe their on, Luthors and Supermen will always be at odds.

With our Man of Steel fighting a Hulk-like Jimmy Oslen, you’d think they would be make him a reptile creature as reference to Turtle Boy.

    More Absolute Justice

Making out with Zatanna through another spell (which I don’t get that motivation, but then again, not thrilled at all about episode 9×11, “Warrior”, which will be the biggest self indulgent centric since Drama Queen’s two parter.) will be another speed bump for Lois & Clark is very concerning for the second half of the season. Are the producers attempting to drive a wedge between Lois & Clark for the sake of cheap melodrama?

Nothing against Justin Hartley, but this show first and foremost is about Superman not Green Arrow. They shouldn’t have made him a cast member, yes he brought more of the superhero factor to the show in Season 6 but the lead character has been doing that recently, he should be written off because they get easily distracted as the case was with Supergirl two years ago.

    Iron Man 2 Teaser

Like the first Wolfman preview, it’s still in the vain of the convention footage but in this case, I understood Rouke’s Russian dialogue this time around. Also it implies Ivan Vanko was actually the inventor of the Arclight technology, before Howard Stark reaped the benefits.

Tony’s celebrity status will probably go to his head but done better the web slinger’s last trainwreck. The Pepper moments looks to be more hilarious then the first film. As the previous film hinted, were getting the armored soldiers led by Justin Hammer instead of the Ten Rings’ lead terrorist who wanted to rule Asia for himself then The Manderian. Still a mystery as to how or if they bring that villain in for a third, we’ll just have to wait and see.

    Under The Hood Animated

Listed on Blu-ray‘s official website, the next movie after Crisis on Two Earths is an adaptation of Jason Todd’s return as The Joker’s previous persona.

Aside from references in Teen Titans and the anaglam version of Tim Drake in Gotham Knights from the DCAU, Jason has never appeared in any other medium outside the comics, so this a golden opportunity for non-readers to get to know the other previous Robin then the one that everybody knows about which is Dick Grayson.

Judd Winick is set write the script for the film, which should put to rest the questions about whether it possibly could’ve been a version of The Killing Joke.

    Brolin as K?

With Jonah Hex on his resamay, rumor on LA Times says Josh is being considered to replace Tommy Lee Jones for a third Men in Black film.

“According to people familiar with the project, Brolin would play a young Agent K, with Smith’s Agent J traveling back in time to meet him.”

That sounds like shit, plain and simple. Although I think Brolin can pull off same mannerisms that Tommy Lee brought to the character, Will Smith will once again be front and center of the attention to his money making July films when he’s not even that good of an actor.

    Whiplash Poster

Another Iron Man 2 image been spoted on the official Apple page.

Not anything we haven’t seen from the first still that was released and for those who managed to watch the footage from the past Comic Con. Before the movie comes out, there’s no doubt we’ll be seeing a glimpse of Rouke in full clad armor.

    Wolfman is "R"

With the film’s unsteady production with the director’s changing due to creative differences and reshoots, the lingering fear was that Universal butchered their movie.

But aside from that, Slash Film reports it’s place on the system.

“The Wolfman has finally received a rating from the MPAA, and has been rated ‘R’ for “bloody horror, violence and gore.”

At this point, we can only hope this remake relys with story and characters then just a mindless gorefest.

    First Look at Merlyn

Still on hiatus awaiting for Absolute Justice to air, Kryptonsite released a preview image of “The Dark Archer” from episode 9×10.

It’s obiviously an all black Green Arrow outfit without the emerald color. The “Roulette” ending with Oliver Queen ontop of the garagoyle before Clark shows up, just screams Batman. It will be played like the relationship between Ra’s Al Ghul from the first Nolan film.
