Smallville "Crossfire" Review

Let’s put it this way. It started being Clois centric, then it’s an Oliver takeover in the second half. Again, can we please drop past relationships, this literally the third time the producers dipped. One of the reasons for Oliver’s suicide attempt was for a chance to touch back on the Oliver/Lois relationship. Let it go. It’s over. Though I like the fact Lois kept it friends at the end.

The Good Morning Metropolis stuff was humorous and enjoyable, unlike the more serious stuff last week. Cat Grant’s cameo and story arc worked well. Emilie Ullerup did a good job.

Speedy’s introduction was okay, but she should have been saved for Green Arrow’s redemption instead of the dumb blond’s deathtrap solution. Elise Gatien will be appearing in future episodes, so we’ll see how it goes. I would have preferred her as a blond, but it doesn’t ruin anything for me.

The kiss was the moment we all were waiting for. Clark made a move, no one interrupted, and it was perfect… except for the fact it was suggested by the not-so-innocent cousin, who can’t be trusted.

Rating: 6 1/2

I’m of the theory that Zod and other Kryptonians or Kandorians, whatever you want to call them, are clones.
