Thor Being Cast?
According to Latino Review, Thor director, Kenneth Branagh had met with the actor of the vampire TV series, True Blood. Maybe playing the title role?
I had a first hand eyeball witness of Kenneth Branagh eating dinner at Blairs today accompanied by a young Blonde actor who i recognized from HBO’s awesome miniseries Generation Kill that was on a year or so ago. I had no idea what his name was but I got home today and Googled him, his name is Alexander Skarsgård. I have no idea if he actually is Thor or not, maybe he’s being considered, maybe he and Kenneth are just friends. However, it seems likely he is being considered since he’s a young Blonde actor and seems to fit the description of the character.
He looks the part, obviously. Having watched some clips of him on YouTube, he can act well. If the script has the Shakespearean dialouge, I think he can pull it off. He’s 6’4, a little below The Son of Odin who’s 6’6 in the comics but close enough.
As the supporting cast goes, get some of the actors from 13th Warrior like Vladimir Kulich as The All-Father and Dennis Storhøi for Fandral. I’m sure you can fit the actor from The Incredible Hulk Returns movie, Eric Allan Kramer in somewhere.
