Bats Supasses Spidey

It did it. According to Media by Numbers, that Dark Knight beat the record of 2002’s blockbuster, Spider-Man.

The Christopher Nolan-directed Batman Begins follow-up added $5.67 million
on Tuesday to bring its massive total to $405.7 million after just 19 days. Spider-Man reached $403.7 million domestically during its entire run in
2002.

It’s a no brainer that the sequel was the better film, but I still enjoy the first Webhead film, which is still my favorite out of that trilogy.
I remembered when it came out, it was the first movie I kept track of during production, and of course (being highly anticipated) I skipped school to go see the first screening on opening day.
