No Luthor for MOS
“There are no developments [on ‘Superman 2′] right now. I know as much as the rest of the
world knows,” Spacey told the site. “I’m signed to do it, but I don’t know
anything about the storyline or the shooting schedule at this point.”When asked about the prospect of reprising the role in ‘Justice League‘ Spacey said, “Though I’ve heard the same rumors, no one has approached me about this.”
This JLA project is affecting almost every other DC movie in the works. -

Marc McClure Guests Stars
Marc McClure, who played Jimmy Olsen in four Superman movies as well as 1984’s
Supergirl, will be playing Dax-Ur, a Kryptonian who has been living on Earth as
a human, in the episode “Persona.” This is also the episode that is scheduled to
bring back James Marsters as Brainiac.Sounds good. -

Amazionian Back Burned…Again
SCI FI
Wire reports that producer Joel Silver recently told reporters that the ‘JL’ heat
isn’t warming his ‘Wonder Woman’ feature. “They’re going to make the Justice
League movie, and we’re kind of pausing on Wonder Woman now,” Silver said in a
news conference while promoting ‘Fred Claus’. “Let them go ahead and do that
picture [first].”“If that comes together, Wonder Woman will be a part of that story,” Silver
said. “And then we’ll see where we go from there. But we struggled with it for a
while. I hope that we can solve it and make it one day.”A ‘Wonder Woman’ feature has been in development with Silver Pictures since
1999 with a parade of writers, directors and actresses attaching themselves to
and then exiting the project. The most recent turnover involved fan favorite Joss Whedon, who took on the property in 2005 and
struggled with it until 2007.That sucks, but if two things happen. If JLA does’nt get made or the news about the movie “being geared toward younger audiences” isn’t true, then there still might be some hope. -

Green Lantern’s Light has Egnighted
Variety has informed that a Green Lantern film is a go.The latest name to be thrown into the ring to direct a Green Lantern movie for
Warner Bros. is Greg Berlanti, a television writer and executive producer who is
responsible for shows like “Dirty Sexy Money,” “Brothers & Sisters,”
“Everwood,” “Jack and Bobby,” and “Dawson’s Creek.” Berlanti, who directed the
2000 feature The Broken Hearts Club, will co-write the script with “Brothers
& Sisters” co-writer Marc Guggenheim, who has a good amount of comic book
writing experience, and Michael Green, the co-executive-producer of NBC’s hit
show “Heroes.”I’m conerned on having a director in television make the jump to film especially with this material, the Green Lantern mythology is huge, it’s a epic just waiting to made. Having researched, the writer sounds good. He wrote Wolverine and The Flash, especially the story where Bart Allen died. -

New Director for Flash
Last I heard about The Flash was that Shawn Levy was slated to direct and I was skeptical since the last movie of his was Night at the Muesuem. Well it seems things change.
From MTV.
Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) says his adaptation won’t be the character’s first
appearance in theaters, with the Flash a major part of George Miller’s Justice League movie.
Dobkin confirmed that his movie will be set in the same universe as Justice League as a
direct spin-off.He added that the Flash they will use is “Wally West.”
Right now I don’t mind Dobkin taking over, Wedding Crashers was a funny movie that had it’s moments of serious issues, it all depends on the script.

"Lara" Director’s Cut
Well it’s not with Clark’s kryptonian mother, but it’s an interesting flashback on Krypton with Kara and her father Zor-El.
Keep in mind the effects are’nt finished.
