    Awaiting Black Adam

While promoting ‘Southland Tales’, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson talked once again about his desire to
play Black Adam in the ‘Shazam!’ movie. However, like so many recent
projects, Johnson’s super villain plans will have to wait until the writers’
    strike is resolved.

“I just met with [director] Pete Segal last night,” Johnson told
    About.com:
Hollywood Movies. “We had a great meeting on ‘Shazam!’ and
just waiting for John August to hand in another draft, which probably will be
handed in months from now, after the strike. But [I’m] very excited about that,
and no, not Shazam but Black Adam. It’s been made very clear, which I love as a
character and I can’t wait to play.”

    Damn the WGS!

    Graig on Bond

ComingSoon.net interviewed Daniel Craig, most about The Golden Compass (Don’t care), but talks about the upcoming James Bond sequel to Casino Royale.

CS: How apprehensive were you to take Bond on originally?
Craig: Very resignated. I was against it, very much against it.

    CS: What changed your mind?
Craig: The script and the fact that it seemed to me that I would be able to
sort of dedicate and get involved with and make something of. I’ve always been a
Bond fan. I’ve always wanted the films to be good. When it came along and I read
the script I thought there was genuinely an opportunity to make a good movie
with one of the most classic icon figures in movies.

    Interesting.

CS: This new movie starts right after “Casino Royale” ends?
    Craig: That’s the plan.

CS: Will the writers’ strike affect production on the next film?
Craig: We’d basically have to start now. The SAG strike starts in July. The
writers’ strike doesn’t affect us because we have a script. As it stands at the
    moment, it doesn’t affect us.

CS: “Casino Royale” marked a welcome return to the style and sensibilities
of the earlier Bond movies, rather than the jokey more recent movies.
Craig: The idea of having jokes in Bond I don’t think is completely wrong,
but I think the jokes to need to come out tension. There needs to be moments of
humor because we’ve all been sitting on the edge of our seat. I don’t think you
    should write gags in Bond.

    Punisher Plot Synopsis

C2F has posted the offical plot synopsis for the new Punisher film.

Waging his one-man war on the world of organized crime, ruthless vigilante-hero
Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. After Russoti
is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new
alias: Jigsaw. With the “Punisher Task Force” hot on his trail and
the FBI unable to take Jigsaw in, Frank must stand up to the formidable army
that Jigsaw has recruited before more of his evil deeds go
    unpunished.

Starring Ray Stevenson (HBO’s “Rome”) as Punisher, PUNISHER:
WAR ZONE is directed by Lexi Alexander and produced by Gale Anne Hurd and
Ari Arad. The film’s executive producers are Kevin Feige, Ogden Gavanski,
    Oliver Hengst and Jeremy Latcham.

It seems this movie is going to be more about vengence, then the previous film was about revenge.

    The Original Superman III

Superman Cinema have posted a outline of what Superman III was susposed to be, ironically from one of the producers that drove the franchise down in the gutter, Ilya Salkind.

It’s okay to have Brainiac but Mr. Mxyzptlk is stretching it. Thinking outside the box, most general audiences are not gonna like having Lois be in the film for the first 15 minutes, an that’s it. You can still have Lois in the picture, with the Lana subplot.

Reading it you can tell that Salkind is not familar with the material.

Superman contacts Supergirl with X-ray Vision? What?
