Smallville Legends: The Last Days of Krypton?

A certain Smallville podcast is reporting that a source has told them the next mobile series of Smallville Legends is going to be about final days of Kal-El’s home planet of Krypton.

If it’s true it’ll be wicked, their last series “Justice and Doom” was done well, even though it was just a campaign to sell the car, the series put the events of the Justice League’s 33.1 mission into the episode “Prototype”.

Back to the main subject, what we speculated on the show of what happened on Krypton with everything that was brought up in the show with Brainiac, Zod’s global war, Raya’s character, the events which lead to Zod being trapped in the Phantom Zone, the Jor-El/Zor-El fued, and how does Martian Manhunter fit into all this.

    Hurt as Ravenwood?

Rumors have long assumed Hurt would be playing Abner Ravenwood, the
believed-to-be-late father of Indy’s former flame Marion (not to mention his
mentor, at least until LAST CRUSADE and the
TV series retconned otherwise). While chatting with
Premiere, Hurt more or less confirms that, if only with a smirk and a hardly
    noncommittal “Hmmmm…”

He was mentioned in Raiders and we seen the daughter, why not introduce her father, and who else better then Professor Broom to play him?

Negetive right upfront was the mediocre narration. The rest was good some action and little Abe action and at the end of the trailer it sounded like Doug Jones’ voice, which could be a good sign.

    Batman Gotham Knight

Having seen the screenshot in this year’s movie issue of Wizard Magazine, the anime looks wicked. Looks like a moving Batman: Child of Dreams on screen, which has to be, well at least on my list of favorite Batman stories.

    Master Yun Fat

The Hollywood Reporter has recieved news that Chow Yun Fat has been cast in the role of Goku’s master, Roshi in the upcoming Dragonball Z movie.

Chow will play Master Roshi. He rounds out a cast that includes Justin
Chatwin, James Marsters, Emmy Rossum and Jamie Chung. Chow is repped by
    CAA.

“Dragonball” is shooting in Mexico City and Los Angeles.

Last time we talked about a live action Dragonball Z film on the show we all agreed that it’s going to look ridiculous. But having seen a still of Justin Chatwin on set as Goku with a orange t-shirt and short spikey black hair, I might reconsider my decision.

I have a feeling this is going to be better then the lackluster that was Superman: Doomsday.

The Funniest Critic on the Internet

Yesterday I was surfing on YouTube, having finished Super Mario Bros: The Movie, that’s right. I came across a review for it by a comedian/geek called the Nostalogia Critic.

Although I didn’t agree on his opinions about the film, it was so f**kin hillarious, I started watching his other videos, I laughed harder and harder, I almost pissed myself.

Here are two funny reviews on the Cloverfield trailer and his gut wrenching, fast paced review on Transformers.

I don’t know how much caffeine this guy drinks but I’ll have what he’s having.

    Speed Racer Poster

The offical website for the Speed Racer movie has released their teaser poster.

It’s okay, but for a theatrical poster I would expect something like this.
