    Solace’s Meaning

On Ask Yahoo, answers the question on what the title of the next Bond film actually means.

“Quantum of Solace” is a small degree of comfort that can exist between two
people emotionally in a relationship. The Governor character in the Ian Fleming
short story of the same name defines it as “… a precise figure defining the
comfort, humanity and fellow feeling required between two people for love to
survive. If the quantum of solace is nil, then love is dead.”

It seems like Bond is going have overcome his inner demons, after the events from Casino Royale.

    Freddy "Alexander" Kreuger?

The sources at Cinema Blend are reporting that Lex Luthor himself, Michael Rosenbaum was approached by Michael Bay to play one of the horror movie icons, Freddy Kreuger of the Nightmare on Elmstreet films in a remake of the first.

    A Cinema Blend source
    says that
    Michael Rosenbaum has
    been lunching with
    Michael Bay.
The assumption: this could mean that he’s talking with the director about the
    upcoming
    Nightmare on Elm Street
remake. It’s a huge guess, but it’s one I’d be quite happy with. Oh yeah, and
Rosenbaum is the baldie Lex Luthor in Smallville.

Aside from Kevin Spacy, who only delivered half of the goods in Superman Returns, Rosebaum delivers everything about Lex’s personality throughout the seven years of the TV show.
Seeing him play Freddy, interesting. Bay involved? We’re guarnteed to see alot of blood, violence, and gore.
But other this casting report, I’m against this remake as well.

    JMS on Surfer’s Origin

The WonderCon is going on right now, at one of the panels Marvel writer, J. Michael Staczynski was interviewed about what to expect in the Silver Surfer spin off.

For what the Silver Surfer movie entails Straczynski says it will cover the
origin of the character. He said it will feature Galactus, noting that the
latest Fantastic Four film held off on showing Galactus to reveal him for this
    film.

Now I was slightly disappointed about The Devourer of Worlds being a cloud, but Tim Story mentions on the commentary of the DVD, that there hands were tied from the very beginning, because 20th Century Fox, who can’t handle franchises without a major director leading the way, wanted to hold it off for a solo film of Norrin Radd.

I thought the makeup on the Surfer looked excellent, especially in the interrogation room scene when he’s talking to Jessica Alba.

On the subject of talking, the fact at the end of the movie there was an inconsistenty in the voice, when Galactus arrives it’s Doug Jones, and before the Surfer leaves to confront his master, it’s Lawrence Fishburne. My gripe is is who are you going to cast in the lead or do you just recast?

    What do you think?

    March Season Trailer

The CW has released a trailer for the Smallville episodes airing in March, and then comes back from hiatus on April with the rest of the five episodes of the season.

With Pete screaming in pain of an arm twist it brings up the question on what’s gonna happen to him at the end of “Hero” ? cough, Stretchy Man, cough

Traveler and Veritas are not the last epsiodes of the season, cause believe it or not, the strike is over.

Can’t wait to see what’s Brainiac’s scheme, hopefully Kara regains her memory and recuses her cousin in time.
