    Monger Shots

Yahoo Movies has posted new images from Iron Man of Jeff Bridges’ character’s alter ego, The Iron Monger.

Only two more months until the movie comes out. It’s cool that Marvel has cast two great for each of their projects, Tim Roth in The Hulk, and The Dude himself.

Anyway on the photos, I mentioned on previous posst, the trailers have CG. Alot of it.

I still hope it shown seemlessly and doesn’t stand out in every action sequence. The photo above seems more physical. Mind you, from on the set photographs, that they shot this fight scene on location.

    Lex Luthor’s Descent

Scifi Wire interview the producers of Smallville, they go into more detail of one of the five new episodes after “Veritas”, “Descent”, where Lex finally becomes the Luthor well all know.

“Descent” deals with Luthor’s decline into “his own personal hell,”
Peterson said. “There is a major turn that happens in his life that drives him
into pure darkness. … It’s Lex’s real descent into the villain he becomes. I
think that is what fans have been waiting for. It’s what I’ve been waiting for,”
    Peterson added with a laugh.

I’m afraid that since “Traveler”, “Veritas” will have it’s moments, but will have no effect on the series whatsoever, it’ll just be full of fluff.

Afterall these episodes were written before the writers went on strike and like we talked about on the show, that they didn’t make an effort.

So hopefully they come back, start cracking out some winners, and that this Lex-centric has a huge impact on the series as a whole.

    Young Avengers Preview

After two years of nothing, Marvel has finally released a teaser for their next animated flim, “Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow”.

I’m still calling it Young Avengers. The trailer was good, it has light on the surface with the dark storyline underneath of Ultron killing off The Avengers.

    "Veritas" Trailer

An extended trailer for 7×15, “Veritas” has hit the net.

After “Traveler” was a snuff episode, I do have some fears lengering in the back of my mind.

But aside from that, the trailer looks good, having seen the Sprint clip, Kara is defensive against Brainiac, so she’s not gonna be a sucker.

Looks like Lana will be out of the picture for some time. YES.

My only gripe is John Glover, last week he was out of character, this week he’s acting over the top.

Ray Park as Snake Eyes – UPDATE

A first look of Ray Park as popular G.I.Joe member, Snake Eyes has hit the web.

That’s as true to the character as you can get and besides Snake Eyes is not suppose to be all ninja, that’s for his adversary.

Can’t wait to see Park do his gymnastics in that classic character’s shoes.

UPDATE 03/21/: USA Today have released a second image.

Official Wolf Man with Baker Interview

Entertainment Weekly has posted an official images of Beninco Del Toro in full make up as The Wolf Man.

It’s putting the traditonal, pasting it on Benicio, and giving him the American Werewolf in London teeth. Overall I like it.

Along with the images there’s an interview with Rick Baker.

    Here the highlights.

What can fans of The Wolfman look forward to the most?

RICK BAKER: You never know how the movie’s going to be, but from what we’ve
done so far, which, mind you, hasn’t been very much, what I would say to fans is
that at least you know that the guy who’s doing the makeup in the movie is
coming from the same place they are — as a fan. I have a real appreciation for
the old Universal classics. The old fanboy in me is jumping up and down
    here!

How does Wolfman rank next to the rest of the films on your extensive
    résumé?

It’s funny: I’ve been very successful and done a lot of films, and I don’t
really have an agent — I don’t really pursue jobs, I let people come to me. I’m
not really listed anywhere; I don’t know how people find me! It’s easier now
that I’m more established, but in the earlier days when I first started out,
it’s actually amazing that I was successful. But with this film, when I first
found out they were going to do it, I went and talked to somebody I know at
Universal. I said, ”You know what? I have to do The Wolfman! You’ve got to let
me do this! I’ll do some really cool stuff.” The Wolfman and Frankenstein were
probably the two most important films in my childhood that made me want to
become a makeup artist. I pursued this job. Fortunately they said okay! It’s
been really fun. We’ve been filming at night, and were filming in this gypsy
camp. It was like being in an old Universal film. We were in this forest with
these cool gypsy wagons and these gypsies sitting all around, and people on
horseback, and fog — I was just going, Yeah! The Wolfman!

The nostalgia of the original sounds all there, and the previous image of Beninco covered in blood, this looks to be a gory R rated film.

    Gotham Knight Covers

Batman: Yesterday, Today, and Beyond has posted three DVD covers for the upcoming Batman Anime feature.

To be honest, I know they have to establish the different styles of The Dark Knight on the covers, but I prefer the single disc version.

    "Traveler" Director’s Cut

The CW has released a sneak peek at episode 7×14, “Traveler”.

That clears up my Lionel concern, cause in the trailer he says to Psycho of the Week, “What are you doing?”, not Lex, but the obivious plot device in the beginning to make you believe it’s Lionel.

Supergirl is back, baby. After Veritas, she’s back to active duty for the remainder of the season, and hopefully in the finale.
