    "Arctic" Offical Description

The CW has released the description for the season finale, “Arctic”.

LEX DISCOVERS CLARK’S SECRET — Kara (Laura Vandervoort) tells Lex (Michael
Rosenbaum) he is destined to defeat the Traveler and offers to take him to the
Fortress to learn how. Clark (Tom Welling) is stunned that Kara would go to Lex
but it is revealed that Brainiac is impersonating Kara and she’s actually
trapped in the Phantom Zone. Chloe is arrested by the Department of Domestic
Security and Lana awakens from her comatose state. Meanwhile, in an epic turn of
events, Clark and Lex face off in the Fortress and Lex learns Clark’s secret.
Erica Durance and Aaron Ashmore also star. Todd Slavkin directed the episode
written by Don Whitehead & Holly Henderson (3T6320).

It kind of explained the whole finale right there in the description.
“Kara trapped in the Phantom Zone”, it would be cool to it again, because I like this interpretation of it. The “Lana awakens” has me grigging, once again Clark is going to stop what must do, like he flat out said this Thursday, that I wanted to hit him with a Kryptonite bat, as always they pull a Clark is happy, then something else terrible happens to Lana, which I don’t mind, love it when they torture that character, then BDA does something stupid that puts the world at risk. Hopefully this will be the last time he does it, since Smallville is coming to an end.

    "Apocalypse" Director’s Cut

The CW has released a sneak peek of 7×18, “Apocalypse”.

Not much to go on accept a Clois rescue in the alternate world. There’s no way for Clark to reason with his cousin, especially if she was raised by a Luthor.

    "Apocalypse" Trailer

After the extremely bad filler episode, “Sleeper”, The CW showed the trailer for next week’s apocalype, with President Luthor and undercover Clark Kent.

These last few episodes of the season are hit and miss. “Descent” being really good and “Sleeper” being really bad.

My Name is Bruce, and I’m Finally Releasing

According to Bruce Campbell his upcoming flick My Name is Bruce is finally
getting a release date. My Name is Bruce will get a Theatrical Release October,
2008 and will then be on DVD January 2009.

To say I am stoked for this film would probably be one of the biggest
under-statements around. Bruce Campbell will play himself, in a comedy horror
where he ends up getting kidnapped off the set of a film and is forced to play
the role of one of his characters.

As I’ve said on a previous post about this movie, I’ll say it again, Campell is The King of the B-Movies, Bubba Ho-Tep and of course the Evil Dead triliogy.
Thank The Necronomicon that this movie is finally coming out.

    Del Toro Confirmed for Hobbit

Confirmed by Variety, that Guillmero has signed on to direct The Hobbit.

In a major step forward on “The Hobbit,” Guillermo del Toro has signed on to direct the New
    Line-MGM tentpole and its sequel.

The widely expected announcement — which had been rumored for several
weeks — came Thursday afternoon jointly from exec producers Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh, New Line president Toby Emmerich, and Mary Parent, newly named chief of MGM’s Worldwide Motion Picture Group.

This will be good news for Rob, more so then me, cause we thought the deal was made months ago. Can’t wait to see Del Toro’s take on the franchise, cause he is a master storyteller.

    New DK Poster

The “Why So Serious?” viral site, has revealed a new Dark Knight poster.

The background perfectly deplays the element of anarchy, one of the new themes of this film. It definitely shows what’s at stake when The Joker causes mayhem in Gotham and for The Caped Crusader.

The flaming Bat-logo is cool, but it’s been done so many times in other superhero movies, The Crow, Daredevil, and the 2004 Punisher movie.

    Season 7 DVD Cover

Kryptonsite has posted the cover art for the Season 7 DVD.

Nice, the background of the Fortress with Laura Vandervoort, but the major problem is Tom Welling himself.

It’s obivious that they took two different promo shots, the body from season 2 and the head from last season.

As of we’ve said before on air, this has been awkward, it started out strong but then Kara had amensia and Lana, once again, annoyingly so, is holding Clark back.

Jimmy and Lois are there when they should start fazing out of the series in the second half and only be used if really necessary like in “Descent” for a perpece.

Good, but not that good, it would be at third place of my favorite seasons.
