    "Quest" Trailer

Finished watching “Apocalypse”, average at best. The trailer for next week seems to be another average episode with Psycho of the Week, can the finale come sooner.

    Iron Man 2..Coming Soon?

With the “offical” release of Iron Man today, talk has already started for a sequel.

Last night, we did just that. Downey’s trainer, Brad Bose, told the IESB
that he starts training with Downey just after this final premiere in LA (Downey
has had a few months off in between going to work on Ben Stiller’s TROPIC
THUNDER). Then, he will have him ready to wear the suit again in just 5 months.
This time around he wants to put an extra 10 pounds on the actor, for a little
    more bulk.

So most likely, fan can look for a production start in early 2009 for IRON
MAN 2. The first film is tracking highly and can expect a BIG box-office opening
    weekend.

I’m sorry, it’s opening day Iron Man is going to take the majority of the money, then Grand Theft Auto, a video game, that’s completely different.

    New Villians for Season 8

I missed last night’s Smallville for Iron Man, but I’ll still be able to watch and review it for the show next week.

The CW has released a statement from Michael Rosenbaum of him leaving the show, but that’s not the story. They also announced the new villians for the next and last season.

    Details for Season 8:

Additionally, two new villains will join the cast
of characters on “Smallville” this season: the legendary, unstoppable Doomsday,
and a female antagonist who will challenge Clark in ways never before imagined.
Casting is underway for both roles.

    Doomsday: In season eight, Clark
will face his ultimate challenge with the appearance of the legendary,
unstoppable destroyer Doomsday, who appears on “Smallville” for the first time.
As comic book fans know, Doomsday is notorious for being the only character in
the DC Comics universe to have killed Superman.

    Female villain: Doomsday
won’t be Clark’s only nemesis in the upcoming season. The executive producers
are tight-lipped about a new female villain they will be introducing, but they
can say she will be familiar to many fans and will set her sights on Clark in
ways Lex never could. Intelligent, brilliantly manipulative, and dangerously
sinister, our gorgeous new villain has one more weapon in her arsenal: Her
mutual attraction with Clark may prove to be as deadly as kryptonite for him.

I can buy Doomsday cause in season 6 Martian Manhunter showed up but most importantly The Phantom Zone established other aliens from dozens of other worlds. Little mystery on the villainess, I’m honestly not sure what DC character it could be.

    2nd Dark Knight Trailer

After Hulk came the new trailer for The Dark Knight that went a little bit more in depth of what the sequel implies.

The Joker isn’t holding anything back. A better glimpse of Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent and a brief shot of Two-Face, but Eckhart has me convinced that he can pull off this role. Some great visuals, most noteable one being Batman standing on rumble.

    2nd Hulk Trailer

Just got back from an early showing of Iron Man, which we’ll review tommorrow, I have to comment on the trailers for the next big movies of the summer, starting with The Green Giant.

The CGI is okay, not great, but I’m still pumped to to see this film. The notable scenes were Banner in mid-transformation and the suttle “Lonely Man” theme played at the end.

    Wolverine Darker?

Hugh Jackman, who’s played Wolverine in the X-Men films, talk to MTV’s Movie Blog about the spinoff.

“I really wanted to do this spin-off movie, because I felt we hadn’t truly
found who this character was,” Jackman said. “We are dealing with a character
who is probably one of the darker comic book characters ever created. The movie
has a lot of fun elements, but there are layers of pain and darkness to this
    character.”

In fact, Jackman likens it to another fan fave superhero movie. “Tonally, I
would put it more in the ‘Batman Begins’ sort of realm. That’s sort of where
    we’re headed.”

Darker? I doubt that and using Batman Begins is just a cover, cause I’ll say it again that Fox can’t handle franchises without someone to hold their hand, I’ll still go see it, I’m not holding my breath, it’s gonna end up like Elektra. Need I say more?

    More DK Posters

Omelete.com has released five more posters from the international division of Warner Bros.

I still don’t understand why the posters outside the US are always better? It’s ridiculous.

Still prefer the image of Joker standing in front of the Gotham streets in front of the police. The others aside from this one and Bats on his bike, don’t do anything for me. Their more like promotional art for merchandising.

    Copyright Attacked

Today I recieved an e-mail for copyright infringement from the DMCA – Digital Millennium Copyright Act, for posting images of Heath Ledger as The Joker from The Dark Knight.
The fact is those photos were already released to the public by another reliable, well established movie related website that I will not mention, and to be honest I didn’t think this would be a big issue.
