    "Arctic" Images

Kryptonsite has released images from the season finale.

The secret has come out from the trailers and in the description, that Lex will learn Clark’s secret in The Fortress. The only thing that’s a mystery is the purple ball that Luthor is glutching and what does that mean for next season, the creation of Doomsday or unleashing The Eradicator to control Clark and goes running amuck, if that’s the case then Clark can’t show his face again for awhile.

    Robin in a Third?

I’m trying to stay away from DK spoilers, I’ve seen the Two-Face image which looks kick ass.
Cinema Blend is reporting on the third Batman film, and the rumor of Robin has cropped up again.

“Dark Victory” continues the story of “The Long Halloween” and seems
primarily focused on Two-Face, while introducing Batman’s sidekick Robin. Does
that mean we’ll get the return of the boy wonder in Batman 3? If the story
follows along this same track, it could.

For any of this complex storytelling to work, they’re going to need
director Christopher Nolan. From what our source tell us, he’ll be back for
Batman 3… but only Batman 3. Whether the series goes on from there is anybody’s
guess, but all indications are that no matter what happens Nolan quits the world
of Batman after the third one, and moves on to something else.

I’m well aware of the Gordon/Dent/Batman alliance from the books, so I knew that’s going to be in the film.
The reason I think Robin can work in the story that Nolan has set up, in the first movie Bruce was the student to a master that was like a father figure who turned out to be Ra’s Al Ghul. If Dick Grayson comes into the fray, Bruce is left with a delimea, how does how he train this stubborn/rebellious young man in the ways of the martial arts that his enemy taught him?
I’m all for Nolan finishing off his run with a third. But theirs always the Spider-Man 3 fear in the back of my mind.

    Mcconaughey for Cap?

Cinema Blend is reporting a rumor that Marvel is looking at Matthew McConaughey as a runner for the role of Captain America.

One of our long time scoopers dropped us a message tonight to let me know
    that
Matthew McConaughey may be one of Marvel’s
leading candidates to slip into Cap’s red white and blue underpants. Our source
is a reliable one, but at this point it’s still very early and he’s only one of
the actor’s they are considering for the role.

Really? I’d say no, McConaughey is a good actor, but this really isn’t really the role for him and besides he has a very strict Southern accent.

    "Quest" Images

The CW has released stills from 7×17, “Quest”.

Like I’ve said before, it’s just another filler episode to wet our appetite until the finale, next week. But this image is interesting, what’s underneath it? That’s the question.

Doubt, it’s Psycho of the Week, an Clark is about to smash his skull in.

    T4’s Sin Revealed

IESB reports the studio’s intentions for the fourth film in the Terminator franchise.

The “Terminator” series is one of the highest-grossing R-rated franchises
of all time, with the first three films having grossed more than $1.03 billion
worldwide. (Ergo the fourth could be R and make plenty of money as well) But
Halcyon producers thought it was time to broaden the upcoming fourth film’s
audience base (which means try to make even more money), and they believe the
PG-13 won’t compromise the series’ gritty vision.

Is if the TV series wasn’t worse enough they want to do a another nuder movie. “PG-13 compromise the series’ gritty vision”? Compromised Enough?

    Marvel’s 2010 – 11 Slate

With Shellhead grossing 201 million, Marvel has released their latest slate for their projects in the next two years.

    Here the highlights.

Iron Man 2 – Scheduled for April 30, 2010 release

Thor – Scheduled for June 4, 2010 release

The First Avenger: Captain America (working title) – Scheduled for May 6, 2011 release

The Avengers – Scheduled for July 2011 release

Far away it seems, even for the Iron Man sequel. The title for Captain America’s film is kind of lame, like Fox’s Wolverine film.
