    Mummy 3 Trailer

The offical teaser trailer has been released of the third, and hope to The Eye of Ra, the last film in The Mummy franchise.

After the second one was such a bag of shit, I gave up on this franchise, and will only stick to watching the first one, cause I felt it stayed true to the outline of the original Boris Korloff film.

It looks stupid and have no interest to see it. Like we’ve talked about in Episode 23, that it’s back to the ghostland after the summer is over.

    New Joker Poster

Batman on Film have posted a new Joker poster for The Dark Knight.

I can’t make up my mind on which one I like, cause these Joker posters that Warner Bros. have been cranking out just keep getting better and better as it’s getting closer to the release date.

    The Emerald Archer Strikes Again?

TVGuide is reporting that since Justin Hartley’s new show didn’t get off the ground, that he’s aiming, no pun intented, to return as Green Arrow for next season of Smallville.

In light of Michael Rosenbaum’s impending Smallville exit — Lex bids adieu
in tonight’s season finale (8 pm/ET) — and Kristin Kreuk’s decreased role next
season, the show needs all the familiar faces it can get its hands on.

+Sources confirm to me exclusively that producers are very keen on bringing
Hartley back into the fold ASAP.

= Duh. Justin Hartley is (probably) returning to Smallville next season as
    Green Arrow!

Hartley’s return and the introduction of his character’s future love interest, Black Canary were bouched this season cause of the many storylines that were going on.

If Green Arrow comes back in Season 8, better appear in more episodes then just one, like the previous season, but most importantly, if Dinah Lance comes back, more screentime, and her relationship with Oliver start to develop more, which should’ve towards the end of “Siren”.

    Tyreese as Mr.T

According to CHUD, that Tyreese has snagged Mr.T’s role in the upcoming A-Team movie.

Last night I talked to Tyrese on the set of Legion, an ambitious religious
action/horror movie co-starring Paul Bettany and Dennis Quaid. It was late at
night in the cold, dusty desert outside Santa Fe, but the elements didn’t keep
Tyrese from dishing on his many upcoming projects… including playing BA Baracus
    in John Singleton’s The A-Team.

Tyrese is excited by the opportunity, even if it isn’t set in stone,
since the script is still being worked on and him taking the role would depend
on scheduling. He said that a mohawk is not out of the question, but otherwise
he’s excited to bring BA into the 21st century, so don’t expect a ton of bling
around his neck. The not in bad shape by any means singer/actor did mention that
he’ll be hitting the weights to prepare for the role, saying that the physique
of the original is a lot to live up to.

He can play a tough SOB, if he has to. Take a look at his performance with James Franco in Annapolis. As far as potraying Mr.T, I think he can pull it off.

He would be a great John Stewart in a Green Lantern movie.

    Goosebumps: The Movie?

From Variety that the popular book series from the 90’s is headed towards the big screen.

“Goosebumps” has never been adapted for the bigscreen, despite selling 300
million books — a young-adult feat second only to Scholastic’s “Harry Potter”
    series .

Scholastic’s Deborah Forte is producing alongside Neal Moritz via his Sony-based Original Film banner.

“Numerous people have tried to bring ‘Goosebumps’ to the
bigscreen, but luckily Scholastic never found the right fit,” said Moritz, who
is better known for producing action fare such as “The Fast and the Furious” films, though he
has the young-adult project “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very
Bad Day” in development at Sony. “I’ve been a huge fan of the property for a
long time. I met with Deborah several times and convinced her that Original and
Sony were the best place to take it.”

Really? I honestly didn’t think Goosebumps was still going, that it’s in second place with Harry Potter, in terms of book sales.
My question is what story are they going to adapt, because there’s so damn many of them or they’re going to create a new one for the screen.
I rewatched a little of my childhood favorite “Attack of the Mutant”, it’s campy as hell. But with the mentioning of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” and “Where the Wilds Are” being in development, it’s nice to hear.

    Conroy on Batman’s Voice

Warners released an interview with Kevin Conroy on his past workings on playing The Dark Knight while talking about the next DC Universe movie.

The legions of Batman animation fans have hailed you as the definitive
voice of the character. How did you originally settle on that particular
    voice?

Kevin Conroy: To tell the truth, after reading the original script, I
really went to audition for the character voices – like Commissioner Gordon and
Harvey Bullock. Like most actors, I really love to be challenged, and I thought
they’d be more interesting and really push me. And then Bruce (Timm) and Andrea
(Romano) said they wanted to hear me do Batman. The only exposure I’d had was
the campy Adam West live-action series, and they said that wasn’t what they
wanted. So I put myself into a very dark place in my voice, and my voice got
deeper and darker and huskier, and it came out very mysterious. I really just
took a stab at what I thought the voice would be, and then I saw Bruce and
Andrea and Paul (Dini) running around the booth, so I knew I either was very
good or very bad. That’s how it started — just me in a sound booth, them on the
other side of the glass describing the character, and then the voice just came
out of my imagination. And it worked. So initially I was much more interested in
doing the character voices, but luckily they talked me into Batman.

Definitive, yes. God, I don’t think so. Stating that means it’s refusing or unwilling to allow others to take a crack at it, cause I’m one of the few fans out there that was impressed by Jeremy Sisto’s performance in New Frontier, who did a good job of being ominous and forbodding.

    Next Spider-man Episode

Kids WB, which is now going to be called “The CW for Kids”, has released images and a summary of the next episode of Spectacular Spider-man.

In the episode, Spider-Man learns the hard way not to judge a book by its cover,
when another Spider-Man starts making headlines…as a crook! It’s the
Chameleon, master of disguise, looting the city and laying the blame at Spidey’s
feet. The Web-Slinger’s forced to team up with another crook, the lovely
Black Cat, to stop his foe’s faux-Spidey crime spree and clear his name. The
episode is written by Matt Wayne and directed by Dave Fausett. ‘The Spectacular
Spider-Man’ is produced by Culver Entertainment, a Sony Pictures Television
    Company.

I..KNEW THAT CAMEO WASN’T JUST A COINCIDENCE, IN YOUR FACE, ROB!

It’s seems the symbiote is not at the forefront yet as I thought. As I’ve seen from the series so far, they’ve done a good job balancing out the cast of characters, but mostly villians, well.

    Pitt for Thor?

Another rumor has surfaced from Moviehole on what other big name actor will play in the next film produced by Marvel.

Are Marvel trying to one up themselves by casting an even bigger name than
Robert Downey Jr (”Iron Man”) for their next super-jaunt? Sounds like it.

According to Latino Review, Brad Pitt is the favorite to play the Thunder God
“Thor” in the upcoming superhero flick of the same name.

As I’ve said on the rumor of Mcconaughey, Brad Pitt for Thor? I’m leaning towards him to play Captain America. He has the stature and the charisma to play Steve Rogers, more so then the Norse God of Thunder.

I can’t see a big name actor to play him, I agreed with Vaughn’s decision to cast an unknown. The actor who played Buliwyf from 13th Warrior would’ve made a great Thor.

    Witchblade Movie in the Works

News has come out from IESB that Top Cow are attempting to bring to the Witchblade brand to the big screen.

The trades are reporting that Platinum Studios, Top Cow Prods. and Arclight
Films will team on a live-action feature adaptation of “Witchblade,” based on
    the Top Cow comicbook franchise.

Pic will be produced by Arclight’s Gary Hamilton and Nigel Odell, Platinum
Studios’ Scott Mitchell Rosenberg and Steve Squillante of Havenwood Media. Top
Cow’s Marc Silvestri and Matt Hawkins will be exec producers with Platinum
Studios’ Rich Marincic and Greenberg Group’s Randy Greenberg.

I knew of the character when it was at the height of it’s popularity in the 90’s and I did watch some episodes of the TV series when it aired. But two things annoyed me about it was no Darkness either as a supporting character or guest star, and that the armor didn’t cover her body when activated. But obiviously with the budget of a movie it will look cool.
Hopefully it isn’t another Spawn fiasco.

    Make a Porno Image

Cinematical have posted an image from Kevin Smith’s new movie.

If this just two average people looking at each other in a diner I’ve ignored it. The reason this caught my attention is the name of the hockey team. Digging the jerseys, I’d buy it the next time I drive down to The Secret Stash after this film comes out.
