    Statham as Hornhead? I Don’t Think So. 


    Supposively from the L.A. Times, he’s aiming for the hero of Hell’s Kitchen.

    The subject turned to ‘Daredevil’ a character Miller has been acknowledged
    as revitalizing in the 1980s. Statham said he’d love to play the blind ninja
    badass on the big screen. “Absolutely, just give me the chance, I would love to
    be Daredevil,” Staham is quoted as saying.

    Boucher suggested he might make a better Bullseye than hero.
    Statham’s
    response: “Forget Bullseye, I want to be Daredevil!”

    That’s just Statham has been exposed in the public, doing these garbage films like Name of the King and now Death Race, he wants to get his hands on anything.

    But it would be interesting to seem him play Bullseye but Collin Farrell owned that role.

    As far as casting Daredevil, not that Affleck was bad or terrible as others are making it out, I would say Guy Pearce, who was rumored to play Murdock awhile back.

    Wonder Woman Preview 

    Warner Bros has released the trailer that was shown at San Diego.

    I understand where people are coming from, the model is a little off in some scenes. Hades looks okay, but still prefer the John Rhys Davies version from Justice League, but still expecting Alfred Molina’s portrayal. This feature looks epic in size and scope, even the action, what Amazons Attack failed to accomplish.

    Lexi Booted Off Punisher? 

    Harry from AICN is reporting that the reason the director of the new Punisher flick didn’t attend the con was the studio dismissed her for the final cut.

    Word comes from anonymous sources who claim “Lexi Alexander has been kicked
    to the curb” and that she can’t talk about the movie or her dealings with
    Lionsgate due to non-disclosure agreements.

    Among the changes that Lexi butted heads with the studio over, is the
    soundtrack. Apparently Lionsgate is replacing the composer score that Alexander
    had been developing in favor of a speed metal soundtrack (as seen in the
    comic-con footage).

    If this was from a relyable source I would believe it. If it were true, I’d tell the studio to go to hell and blah, blah, blah, but this is a huge downer, just when signs of interest started to insue.
    I guess we’ll have to wait for the DVD or Extended Cut to see the real verison like the last film. Thank you Lionsgate.

    Wolf Man is Official 

    Universal has put up the official website for The Wolf Man. From the description of footage shown at the Con, this looks to be dark.

    An added bonus, it has the classic poem.

    Wolverine Con Footage 

    While I enjoy The Punisher trailer, and this looks mildy entertaining, I’m still skeptical about any Marvel project that isn’t produced by them.

    The one line that stuck out to me was Logan saying to Sabertooth, “I’m gonna cut your god damn head off.”

    Cool seeing Gambit and The Blob. Ryan Reyolds as Deadpool, doesn’t do anything for me, he should still play The Flash.

    Smallville Con Scoop 

    Today was the Smallville panel. The big announcement, Geoff Johns will write a Legion of Superheroes episode.

    Obiviously fans are extremely divided, like The Punisher trailer, the more I watch it, the more I’m liking it.

    Maxima is indeed going to be appearing in the show despite the skepticial report.

    I’ve said before, it’ll be fun to watch, my problem with it, is that Clark already knows that “You’re destined to save the Earth and change things” shit. How many times does he have to be reminded? BDA is the answer.

    Machete Films 

    Rodriguez revealed at the Con that they’ll be a trilogy of the Grindhouse short. Trilogy is not on my mind, I just want to see what he has in store for the first, especially from that fake trailer.

    As my brother and I mentioned on air, Rated X should totally come back.
