    “Beast” Clip

The characters both have valid points. But I’d still have to side with Oliver. Davis is dead. The other personality is just playing on Chloe’s sympathy.

By the finale, Clark is gonna find out what Oliver did to Lex, so maybe that will be another big step for Boyscout to take charge of The League with Flash and Canary switching sides to preserve life at all costs. At this point, it can go in different directions.

I’m definitely curious to see where this thing goes. The clip looks great, and I’m actually impressed they’d give oliver the straight-forward “kick his ass” line. It’s good to see they’re really trying to embrace a darker kind of tone for the show. But didn’t they elude to Zatana actually reversing the death of Lex for Oliver as his wish? I know sometimes they hint towards things but don’t entirely clarify. Anyway, can’t wait to see Clark smash some Daily Planet office furniture!

    "Beast" Preview

From last night’s amazing episode, Chloe makes another turn for the worst.

The official images suggest Clark might try to put Doomsday into The Phantom Zone, but because of her feelings for the human shell, will turn on her former friend.

    Dragonball Evolution Review

I was bored the last three weeks, so just for the hell of it, I saw this live action anime film. It wasn’t a good movie by any stretch of the imagination, but it still was an entertaining flick.

The effects weren’t god awful, I actually quite liked the famous Kamehameha Wave at the end. Not so much of the anticlimax or the constant life lesson. As an adaptation goes, almost all of the aspects are mediocre. The high school setting is just been done to death. Felt more like a TV pilot that went to the big screen, which is exactly what Clone Wars was last year.

Chow Yun-Fat did do a decent job as Master Roshi. The problem is Goku’s uncle is much older then him and it was said Roshi trained him. Should’ve thrown on the makeup from Bulletproof Monk for some kind of measure.

I didn’t mind the changes to Piccolo or Bulma. Unfortunately, like Season 7 of Smallville, James Marsters is once again given the shaft with very little to work with.

    Rating: 5 1/2.

    More Iron Man 2 Casting

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shooter co-star is onboard.

Kate Mara and Clark Gregg have joined Marvel’s “Iron Man 2,” being directed by Jon Favreau and currently shooting in Manhattan Beach, Calif.

Mara’s role is being kept under wraps. Gregg is returning as Agent Phil Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Well Kate is definitely not playing any of the other redheads in this movie. Maybe Julia Carpenter aka Spider-Woman. But that would be throwing too many characters into the fray. Cause we have Black Widow, Nick Fury, Crimson Dynamio, etc.

Looks like this film will take place in the Marvel hub where The Hulk left off as opposed to Malibu, California in the first film.

    Smallville "Injustice" Stills

Official images for 8×21 have popped up.

Kind of a letdown the supervillians are wearing black leather and not uniforms that reflect their comic counterparts like the Justice League do. But my main problem is, do we really need to see Plastique wielding a samurai sword just because the actress looks Asian? That’s severe stereotyping right there. Plus, the character doesn’t need a weapon, she is one for god sake.

The actor that’s playing Parasite, Brendan Fletcher played the young brother who died in Freddy vs. Jason. From his performance in that movie, he can pull off the addict that Rudy Jones or Maxwell Jenson, whichever name the writers pick, is. Maybe after he drains Clark’s powers, lobotomizes Bette.

    "Injustice" Official Description

The synopsis of the supervillians’ debut hits Kryptonsite.

    DC COMICS CHARACTER PLASTIQUE RETURNS
WITH FRIENDS — Chloe (Allison Mack) returns and begs Clark (
Tom Welling) to kill Davis (Sam Witwer), claiming he can no longer keep the beast under control. Tess (Cassidy Freeman) has assembled a team of meteor freaks, including Plastique (guest star Jessica Parker Kennedy), to track down Davis so Clark can kill him. However, things get out of hand once Tess’ team discovers she is double-crossing them. Aaron Ashmore and Justin Hartley also star. Tom Welling directed the episode written by Al Septien & Turi Meyer.

I wasn’t big on Jessica’s performance of the character from that episode or the short lived climax. The producers wrote that one, so maybe with Septien and Meyer on board, she’ll be less annoying and more of a villian by displaying more of her explosive abilities.

A reminder, Parasite and Livewire are in this aswell. They need the screen time they deserve in duking out with Red Blue Blur.
