More GL Location Pics

Comingsoon.net posted more revealing shots on set.

Fans are bashing this logo. I don’t mind the silver battery and afterall the ring is a piece of jewelry aside from it being the most powerful item in the DCU. Besides, nothing official has been released, this could still be the production symbol.

The scene being constructed here is probably a Top Gun moment where Hal Jordan zooms passed the tower with his superior officer spills his coffee.

But unlike Maverick, Hal is dismissed from the Air Force for his recklessness which aside having severe family issues and meeting Gossip Girl, the major factors for him work for Ferris Aircraft.

In a related story, while Geoff Johns was being interviewed by Comic Book Resources about the aftermath of Blackest Night (disappointing), the upcoming Brightest Day (not bothering), gave his thoughts about it while he was there.

“The movie looks fantastic. I’m heading back down to New Orleans in a few weeks, but I just watched the Abin Sur/Hal Jordan dailies, and it’s amazing seeing that ring passed to Hal in live action. Abin Sur looks
kick-ass.

They did such a great job. They’ve got Grant (Major) as a production designer. He’s from “Lord of the Rings,” and the visuals on this film are nothing like you could imagine. It’s definitely a Green Lantern fan’s dream. For me, it’s kind of insane to see this stuff come to life.”

If the exchange is anything as like the grandness of New Frontier, I’ll be satisfied. Jango Fett himself, Temuera Morrison is playing the Ungarian. Not his first time in a comic book movie, he starred in Barb Wire with Pam Anderson.

The way I see it, Grant can do no wrong in my book. Unless the visual effects suck or weak.
