Okay, they stayed true to the generational theme and the origin is intact. Minus the name Phant, I don’t mind the organization working for Walker. But come on, the costume is so retarded. I understand wanting to go high tech, but why force it? Making fun of the original outfit only adds the insult to injury. My biggest problem is taking the Spider-Man coming of age angle. Let go of your old life and your girlfriend? I’ve suffered Lana “Drama Queen” Lang for 8 years, Mary Jane in 3 movies, I’m sick and tired of the normal girlfriend melodrama! Plus, the villain is even below Xander Drax’s level of stupidity.
