The Return of Cap. What’s The Point?

After Steve Rogers’ demise, fans accused Marvel of ploying to sell more comics. Ain’t that the truth.

The death and ressurrection storytelling is overdone. I was glad that Bucky donned the mantle, bringing back his fellow comrade reaks of what the outcome will unfornately be like for Dick Grayson, that everything goes back to normal whose Bruce Wayne jumps back onto the saddle of Batman.

In 600 of The Star Spangled Avenger, which came out earlier then expected, they’ve brought in Rebecca from Heroes Reborn into the mainstream universe. Yes, I was one of those suckers that read that junk too. Being optimistic though, it could mean forward progression for Barnes’ character to have someone under his wing like he was back in World War II. That is if two things happen.

A. James is still The Sentinel of Liberty afterwards.

Or B. Takes on another superhero identity.

Cause he’s definitely not going back to being a tool for The Russians again. In all fairness, the first issue of Reborn hasn’t even come out yet. So for now I’m leaning towards B at this point.
