Superman: World of New Krypton #4

Fortunately, this issue isn’t what the preview or cover displays it as.
Tyr shows Hal Jordon and the Green Lantern Corps around. He mentions while above orbit, that Brainiac’s technology was reason for the planet’s creation in the first place. A Phantom Zone escapee named Val-Ty causes trouble by blowing up construction work of battleships that was commissioned by General Zod and Alura, which is obviously suspicious. During the struggle, Kal-El’s second in command of the unit called Red Shards, Nar is given the order by Zod to eliminate the threat immediately. She goes against it, siding with Kal’s code of ethics by neutralizing Val with their Red Solar riffle and kept a prisoner.
Hal minds it since the menace is also wanted in custody on Oa aswell. John Stewart reminds him that there here on a Fact Finding mission only after Zod insults him by saying they don’t have authority. As The Lanterns leave, Hal resents Clark for knowing his father’s arch enemy is up to no good and despite his involvement to set it straight, it’s not prevailing.
In the end, Nar and him are put under arrest for treason against their superior. After the previous comic, my interest in this started to dwindle. But this kept me on board and I look forward to see what happens next.
