An F4 Reboot in the Works

IESB.net have stated that 20th Century Fox plans to go start again with the famous superhero family.

With Daredevil already getting the once over and Planet of the Apes also in the running for a new start with a prequel in the works Fantastic Four is joining the reboot gang.

The franchise is looking to be “less bubble gum” this time round following the Iron Man template, which was a complete success in reviews and box office take but a bit darker when it came to its superhero. Iron Man was in no way as dark as The Dark Knight but was funny, action-y as well as a bit on the serious side.

That’s a good sign because their finally starting to realize that darkness doesn’t equal instant success. But on the bad side, Fox still own the rights.

The studio can’t market or filmmake to save their lives without a director being large and incharge as the two X-Men films showed us. Marvel Studios should be pulling this license away from them and back under their wing.
