“Bulletproof” Review

Late I know. Last week was a decent episode until the lousy ending. First, The Good. Detective John Jones in the opening teaser was awesome. Even better, Clark Kent going undercover in the Metropolis P.D. with future inspector, Dan Turpin.
The story is straight forward. Right from the beginning you know who did it. For having a small role back in Season 1, David Paetkau pulled off the hard edge but with a good heart very well. Similar to Bart Allen learns the error of his ways.
Finally, a scene with Green Arrow, Boyscout, and Martian Manhunter in one room. Glad Phil Morris had more screentime then in previous seasons. Cause this really was a centric for him.
The schematics of Lex’s battle suit from Promethesis was a susprise. Loved how they brought it into the show. Probably not until the season or series finale we’ll get to see The Man of Steel’s arch enemy in all his clad glory.
Chloe being protective of her cousin’s feelings for her best friend was nice. Allison Mack delivers the lines very bitterly. Maybe Chloe remembers what Clark did to her in Abyss when she was possessed by Brainiac.
Now The Bad. Out of nowhere, Turpin runs out into the line of fire and get’s shot. That’s pretty stupid. The subplot with Drama Queen is still wasting screentime. Just like Legion, we were subjected to more smoke out her ass of how great of a person she is. Which tommorrow night will prove that all false. While in my opinion she was owning the catfight, I still don’t like this version of Luthor’s bodyguard. She fell to the whims of DQ.
Lastly The Ugly, Clana at the end. Why? WHY? WHY?! I understand for closure purpose, but Clark’s character went backwards again. Another BDA moment. Despite all that, it’s still decent.
