Green Lantern #36

While the last issue of Batman didn’t do much for me, The Red Lantern storyline is getting more interesting.

Picks up where Final Crisis left off, a member of The Blue Lanterns save Hal Jordon on low power and the corps from survivng members of Sinestro’s team. Writer, Geoff Johns shows how godlike the Blue Corps are by healing John Stewart’s rage infection to jumpstarting a sun by sending it through time.

At first Hal sees no point to saving the sentenced supervillian from Atrocitus’ way of execution. Ganthet says to Jordon that since he’s mastered courage and fear, gone through hell as Parallax and came out the other during Rebirth that it’s time for him to move up to Blue Lantern status, which is gonna happen very soon.

It’s still too early in the series, but this looks to be another great chapter in GL mythology.
