Plastique on Smallville


Kryptonsite has confirmed that the character in 8×02 “Plastique” is the villianious from the DC universe.

The second episode of the eighth season of Smallville, is called
Plastique. “Plastique” does indeed involve Bette Sans Souci, the character from
the DC Comics universe. In this version she is a “15 year old street kid” who is
injured in an explosion, and Chloe Sullivan (Clark Kent’s best friend) asks her
to move in.

Knowing the character only from the JLU episode “Task Force X”, I did some research on Wiki, being a woman who flinged with Captain Atom to becoming a female Gambit.

Since this is Smallville they might give her the power to blow things up by the use of Kryptonite, one of the things I hate on the show.

The really screwed themselves last season by Bizarro falling for Lana, which breaks the concept of him being Clark’s opposite to Brainiac wanting to kill Kal-El on Krypton in the past that the time travel wasn’t explained at all.
