Transformers’ Stars Returning
SHH posted an article about what stars from the first Transformers will come back for the sequel.
We knew that Shia LaBeouf would be back and that Isabel Lucas and Rainn
Wilson (playing a college professor to LaBeouf’s new undergrad) had been added,
but now The Hollywood Reporter has also confirmed that Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel,
Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro will reprise their roles in the Michael Bay
sequel. The story was conceived by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who wrote last
year’s Transformers, as well as Ehren Kruger, who wrote the screenplay. Filming
began in Los Angeles in recent weeks and is moving to Pennsylvania on June 2nd
and then overseas.
As the story goes, I didn’t mind the human characters, minus the Australian hacker and John Turturro’s sometimes annoying character, their focus should shrink and the attention goes to the title characters as it should be.
But it set itself up with more Autobots and Decepticons coming to Earth, so it will be interesting to see who they bring in, besides Soundwave.
