Thor of Asgard

IESB has also confirmed that the Thor movie, the majority, will take place on his homeland of Asgard.
No director is attached at this time, but Feige says Marvel plans to announce
one sometime this summer. Also, he says they haven’t even talked about casting yet for the lead role
and have no idea who they plan to cast (Brad Pitt was rumored). So far as the storyline, Feige says the film will be set in the world of
Thor, Asgard, and that it would not be a contemporary story.
That’s more good news after good news from Marvel. I think that the general public is tired of the superhero films that are earthbound, and are looking for something new.
Otherworldly can be done, as long as you have a sense of realism to it, like The Phantom Zone on Smallville being an endless desert or The Mustafar System, the lava planet in Star Wars.
