Cap’s Setting

As we’ve speculated on our video for last week, IESB has confirmed that the setting for Marvel Studio’s Captain America film will take place during the glory days of World War II.
IESB asked Feige if the Captain America film would be a period piece. He
confirmed yes, the story will take place during World War II, just like the
comic book origin story. He says they plan to remain very faithful to the source
material and completely traditional.Feige also confirmed that it was definitely the Captain America shield
that was seen in IRON MAN on Tony Stark’s work-station as he’s removing his suit
for the first time. It’s just an Easter Egg and probably won’t have
anything to do with the Capt. America story.
Yeah Right, Feige. As “traditional” goes I’m confident that they’ll not adapt the classic costume, cause I rewatched the crappy 90’s flick from youth, and it just looks weird as hell in live action, also mention the rubber ears.
As the Fury ending showed, they’ll adapt the best of both worlds, the modern and Ultimate universe in one.
