Wonder Woman Lives

IESB interviewed Joel Silver at Long Beach, (great place, great weather) who was there to promote Speed Racer about any future Wonder Woman flick.

No, this new script will not be set in WW II like the spec script these
guys drew up instead a whole new storyline and setting are currently being
developed.

Originally shying away from an “origin” or genesis story for the
superwoman, Silver has reconsidered and says they are really looking into a
story involving Paradise Island and her background.

I think it should be played out like her character was going through in New Frontier, who’s unsure how to adapt from being an ambassador of her homeland to being a superherorine, who’s on par with Superman.
As far as casting, I think they missed on few good actresses Catherine Zeta Jones/Douglas or Kate Backinsale. But the inspiring choice would have to be Jennifer Connelly.
