Marvel’s 2008 – 09 Schedule

With the news of a Hulk trailer, Marvel have released their schedule of projects for this year and the next.

Here the highlights from each category.

Feature Film Projects Being Developed by Marvel – partial list

Captain America, Marvel – Writer engaged

Definitely antisapating this, despite Steve Rogers being dead, Cap is still my favorite hero in the Marvel Universe.

As an adding bonus, David Self, of the Bourne films is co-writing the script.

Thor, Marvel – Writer engaged
Rob is extremely look forward to this and so am I. Matthew Vaughn, the director of Stardust, is helming, from seeing that film, I can’t wait to see his take on the Nasgardian mythology.

The Avengers, Marvel – Writer engaged
Unlike the compatishion, they have this team-up movie thought out well.
Marvel Character Animated Direct-to-DVD Projects

Planet Hulk, Lionsgate – Scheduled for February 2010 release.
Interesting. My question is, to which goes to you the listeners/commenters also, what take would they spin? Will it be in continuity with the Ultimate Avengers features or be it’s own movie that vaguely follow the continuum of the series.
