Rush Hour III Review

I came back a few minutes ago from the Marquee having seen the third installment, so here are my thoughts. First I’ll start with the positve, certain points the film were funny like the Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan’s musical number and the outtakes at the end were just as funny as the second one.

Now onto the negative, well after the whole Tucker’s payment of 25 million dollars just appearance wise and being the highest paid actor in Hollywood, I was expecting him to be more of the focus then Chan, and that was true, the overplaying racial jokes was overkill and boring. Chan had a subplot that was on the sidelines, there was no balance between the two main characters. The action sequences at the end were way too over-the-top for my liking. Overall, it’s a mildly entertaining flick with a few laughs in it, but that as comical as the previous movie.
